Privacy notice
Last updated: 2 November 2026
This notice explains how The Vet at Home ("we", "us") uses personal information when you ask about a certificate or a home visit, book one, contact us or use this website.
Who we are
The Vet at Home is the trading name of EXPORT FOR ALL LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 13616235), registered office 24 Little Comptons, Horsham, RH13 5UW. EXPORT FOR ALL LIMITED is the controller of your information. Contact: roxana@exportforall.co.uk, 07931 254496.
What we collect
- What you send through the contact form: your name, phone number, email address, the type of request, your animal, your town or postcode and your message.
- What you send by phone, WhatsApp or email, such as your animal's records, microchip and vaccination details, travel or export details, the address for a home visit and the dates that suit you.
- Records of the examination, treatment or certificate, which a vet has to keep.
Why we use it, and the legal basis
- To reply to you, visit your animal and issue certificates: steps you asked for before a contract, and the contract itself (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep the clinical and certification records a vet must keep, and the records tax law requires, such as payments: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
- To keep this website secure and working: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
We don't use your details for marketing and we don't sell them.
Who helps us
These providers handle information for us, only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and processes form submissions.
- Resend, which delivers the form to our email inbox.
- Afaceri Diaspora Ltd, which built and maintains this website and keeps a copy of form messages so none are lost.
- WhatsApp (Meta) and our email provider, when you contact us that way.
- Google, only if you click "Allow" (Google Analytics).
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Clinical and certification records are kept for as long as professional and legal rules require. Payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires (usually six years). We don't publish photos of your animal or your home.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to restrict it. Email roxana@exportforall.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
